American Red Cross Advanced Life Support Instructor (ALS) Skills Session. In this skills station ALS learners will demonstrate effective instruction and evaluation of patient resuscitation skills at the Advanced Life Support Level. Instructors will emphasize team dynamics and crew resource management strategies to implement the technical procedures required to conduct a team resuscitation. Instructors will assess learners as both a team and as individuals to ensure that each learner leaves the session with appropriate proficiency to perform the ALS skills required for their position. If instructors are not able to correctly instruct, evaluate, and maintain the high professional standards of the Red Cross opportunity and instruction for remediation will be provided.
